Matterhorn entry in Trace-Parts Competition 2104. The participants were invited to draw a place or monument in 3D that best represents their country, using CAD or image editing software.
I created using Cinema 4D 15 and Photoshop CS5 the iconographic, natural, eroded and glacier-ground building, which represents Zermatt and Switzerland internationally:
The Matterhorn is 4478 meters above sea level with one of the highest mountains in the Alps. Because of its distinctive shape and its ascent of the Matterhorn story is one of the most famous mountains in the world.
It is a landmark and the most photographed tourist attraction in Switzerland. (Source Wikipedia)
With Trace-Parts online parts such as various 6-head screws, aluminum square tubes and grids it transforms in the Matterhorn.
