Our team was engaged by the Omni Hotel group to create an illustration, that would address the building's past, present and future. At that moment, the hotel started undergoing a complete elevation clean up, which meant that all elevations where going to be protected for the next year, so the use of photography was out of the question.

We decided to use the narrative of old vs new photography, to create an interesting visual dialog between 2 different periods, within the same frame.

In order to recreate, the original Architecture, as well as the existing one, with the added modifications it is undergoing, we spent several weeks of research from old illustrations, photographs and original sketches, to photography research of the details on the ornaments that were never documented on the original drawings.

The end result was extremely well received, to the point that not only the image is key to their sales activities, but the 3D model developed, became fundamental during the renovation work.
